Tang Tang Go - Driver app is the official application for drivers partnering with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, share, and protect the personal data of our driver-partners in Taiwan.Our services are provided in accordance with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and other relevant regulations.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data to effectively operate our platform, ensure safety and comply with legal obligations. The data we collect includes:
A. Information You Provide Directly:
Driver’s vehicle Information: Driver license document, license expiry vehicle registration plate number, vehicle make, model, year, vehicle features, color.
Vehicle Insurance information: We collect vehicle insurance documents and capture the expiry of the insurance.
B. Information Collected During Your Use of the App:
Location Data: We collect precise location data from your mobile device when the app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen). This is essential to:
Connect you with nearby rider requests.
Display your location to riders before and during a trip.
Calculate fares and routes.
Monitor trip safety and investigate incidents.
Trip Information: Details of the trips you accept, including rider information (name, phone number), start and end points, route taken during the ride, duration, and fare.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our app, such as trip acceptance/rejection rates, your driver rating, app features used.
Device Information: Device type, operating system and version, unique device identifiers to facilitate communication via push notifications and allowing us to identify that driver using a single device at a given point of time.
Communications Data: We facilitate communication between you and riders through push notifications, emails. We do not record calls, we may collect metadata and review in-app messages to resolve disputes, ensure safety, and for quality assurance.
C. Information from Third Parties:
Riders: Ratings, feedback, and compliments.
Partner companies: The car companies that tied up with us would onboard their drivers into our platform by providing full name, profile photo, email address, and mobile phone number.
Government Authorities: Information related to your professional driving permits or in response to legal requests.

With Riders: We share your first name, profile photo, phone number, driver rating, vehicle details (make, model, license plate), and real-time location with riders when you accept their trip request.
With Service Providers: We share data with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, such as:
Cloud hosting providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Mapping and navigation services (e.g., Google Maps, MapBox).
Payment processors.
Marketing and data analytics partners.
These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
With Law Enforcement and Government Authorities: We may share your data if required by Taiwanese law, a court order, or a valid legal request from a government authority.
In Case of Business Transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
For Safety and Dispute Resolution: We may share information with insurance companies, law firms, or other third parties as necessary to handle claims, disputes, or safety incidents.

Our services are not intended for individuals under the legal age to hold a professional driver's license in Taiwan. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or other means. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of our services after a notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
